S,DÁYES • PENDER ISLAND

Pender Island – or S¸DÁYES in the SENĆOŦEN language – is one of the Southern Gulf Islands located in the Salish Sea between Vancouver and Victoria on the southwestern coast of British Columbia. It is part of the traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples including the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) First Nations. North and South Pender Island are connected by bridge and together are home to 2800 year-round residents, and many more weekenders and visitors.

Parking

As there is a lack of parking space at Hope Bay, the spaces are reserved for those with appointments or who are visiting local businesses.

Festival parking is located in the Braeloch Farms field on Port Washington Road, just a short walk from Hope Bay.

Follow the signs and please drive slow!

Road Closure

On Mosaic Fest weekend there will be a temporary road closure of Clam Bay Road, from the intersection of Bedwell Harbour Road and Clam Bay Road to the northern edge of the Hope Bay Field where the path is.

This will allow us to keep festival goers safe (especially the wee ones!), improve the experience of the performances, plus give us a bit of extra space in front of the stage for dancing and cheering and mingling!

Road Closure Schedule

Friday: 6-10pm
Saturday + Sunday: 1-10pm

Please take your dog outside the festival grounds to do their business, clean up after them and dispose of baggies in the bin provided!
